Woke up early, at 8:00am, the kids/kitties just wouldn't let me sleep. Good thing, I was able to do my laundry and was back home at 10:30am, just in time to start watching the final match play with Tiger vs. Davis Love. Great golf all weekend. Tiger pulling it out when he needed to win the championship.
Packed a few more tubs and boxes. It's getting to the point where I will not be able to pack anymore until I can move some of this stuff out. Good thing I close in 10 days.
My left shoulder is killing me, probably from bad computing form. Need to get some warm hands to work the knots out of the muscles.

I just got back from the CGT show and it was fantastic. Played a mixture of new material, plus some older stuff I recognized. The did a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody and the audience actually sang the words. They ended the show with a cover of Ghost Riders In The Sky, which included theme from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (One of my all time favorites) Check their site in a few days and there should be some pictures of the audience (One of the guitarists snapped our picture a few times). One of the most amazing songs was a cover of a Bach prelude in which each member played on third of the notes. You had to see it to see what I mean, you see.
The evening actually started at Mezzaluna's an Italian ristorante located on 2nd street, one block up from Dragonfly. I was with Danimal and Rachel Bear. We had two bottles of wine with us, since it is byob. Dan tried to get a special order because he new the chef would come out to talk with us. Dan wanted the chef to put some prosciutto ham in his veal Giuseppe (sp?). The chef did come out and spoke with us, saying that it is too expensive to keep around regularly, but if we called ahead next time he would make us a "special". A few minutes after we received our salads, the chef sent out a plate of roasted red/green bell peppers sauted in olive oil, basil and lots of roasted garlic. YUM!!. I ended up ordering penne pasta with meatballs. I needed the pasta/carb fix, and it worked. There are some days when I don't seem to have enough energy. As soon as I get into my house, I plan on joining the gym which is not far from my house. Then I can give up this low carb thing.
I stayed out later than I wanted to last night. Could'nt pass up opportunity to see Quagmire last night. Needless to say I didn't get to bed until very early this morning, which is when I woke up, 8:00am. But then again Saturday mornings are cool, get to watch G4 TV on G4. I love the host Tina Wood and Laura Foy. Tina Wood, well lets say there is something about that name.
Going to see a show tonight at the Whitaker Center 2nd stage. The California Guitar Trio. They are graduates from Robert Fripps Guitar Craft Seminars. I have seen them before opening up for King Crimson, and with the League of Crafty Guitarists which included some Soundscapes by Robert Fripp Should be fun fun fun.

WellI didn't stay for the full Quagmire set. I mean I have heard it lots of time. There are lots of nice young people that come to see every set. In fact there is a nice young woman who is so HOT. She is the doppleganer of
Natalie Rattano
This girl is a really nice young woman, but she is so much like Natalie. Any way the Ozrics are so cool to listen to.
11 days to the closing on my house : )
I just got off the phone with my broker, sold most of my holdings so I have more than enough funds for closing, and some to get pre move in work done. Probably not going to stay out late tonight. Even though a really cool band, Quagmire Swim Team, is playing at ABC tonight. I have to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow morning so I can start packing more stuff, and start cleaning the kitchen.
Liz, my stylist, once again did a wonderful job on my hair.
I have to sell some of my stock today to provide for my closing. Sadly I must sell some of my Marvel stock. I initially purchased Marvel at $6.00/share and then again at $25.00. Hopefully I will be able some of them at $33.00 today. The proceeds from Marvel and half of what I hold in CKCM (Click Commerce), and all of what I own in other stuff should give me the funds I need for closing and any thing that may come up in the next two months. I will probably sell the rest of Marvel right before Spiderman II opens. I am betting it will be around 45 by then. That will give me enough for a sweet HDTV, new sound system, and some cool appliances.

Well finally home from work. Stopped at ABC to hang out for a while. Brat-U was supposed to meet me there, but blew it off. Oh well, got to see some buds I don't see all to often.
It's getting scary what the FCC, and the government is trying to determine what we see and hear. Most people won't even blink an eye. But if we allow this to continue, we won't even have any choice on who we vote for. I just wish I had the input and availability of Howard to speak my mind. Not that it would make much difference. Although most people would tell you otherwise. America is still full of middle american bigoted people that the vocal minority is pandering to.
So it looks like the conservatives struck the first retaliation from the Janet Jackson incident. Clear Channel Communications, a very conservative media conglomerate, fired a Shock Jock DJ named Bubba the Love Sponge, and booted Howard Stern off 7 of their stations.
People should boycott Clear Channel not just for this, but they are in cahoots with Ticketmaster, and they control the majority of the artists we get to see on tour. They control the artists we hear on the radio, and see on TV. Americans have become a bunch of mindless consumers who will gobble up all the pablum that is thrown at them by media conglomerates. It's time to take a stand!!
Well my new website is live. Didn't take long to get it upgraded. I still want to add some flash and dreamweaver stuff, but that will take a little time. Who knows once I get into my new house, I might be spending more time at home.

Been working on a major overhaul of my webpage. I "Lifted" a template from a site and am using it as a transition until I can either get a professional to work with me, or I actually learn some flash and dreamweaver coding. But that would mean I would be spending many nights home alone and that makes for a dull boy.
Just got home from my appointment with Hanger Prosthetics. I got a new leg two weeks ago, and it is far more comfortable than any leg I have ever had. Good thing I didn't have to pay for it. I am guessing that since the two inserts cost $1,800, the total cost of the prosthesis was around $7,000. Wait I just got a bill from them, let's see if it includes the cost of the prosthesis...........Nope just for the socks which are not covered by my insurance. The diagnosis of my leg alone cost $900. DAMN I am in the wrong business.
Well I have come to the realization that the best person for the job is not always the one who is given the assignment. Espcially when I have to come in and clean up other peoples messes. Not sure what casues this, but I know for sure that nothing I have ever programmed/designed/ and deployed to production has ever blown up!

Well I could have been writing what a productive day I had at work, but for the cavemen mentality of some of the developers I am just going to rant.
I spent a good day getting a development server up and running. No problem I get the thing ready so that it would cut the actual time spent getting programs created and compiled in half. BIG PROBLEM WITH THE CAVEMEN. They are afraid of using a new method. GROG NOT SURE IF THING WILL WORK. These guys are getting paid big bucks to integrate newer technology with our legacy systems. Some of these people don't ever want to crawl out of their cave and test out the fire that the storm left. Some people just need to grow up.
14 days till my house closing.
Tuesday I don't mind them as much since that's the day for Fox's amazing show
24
15 days till closing :)

Sixteen days until closing on my house. I am so freaking anxious to get this thing going, get the keys to my place. But that is just the beginning. Still have things to pack, and then cleanup of the apartment. I just can't wait to move my kids to the new place. They are gonna go nuts!
I stopped at ABC on the way home from work and had a club sandwich. It was good. No beer tonight. But this lo-carb thing is starting to make me CRAZY!! On to top it off on my way out there was a woman standing by the host stand. She stopped me and said Hi, I think I remembered her from Nick's 1014. But she was convinced that I was someone else who was in a band. I played along with it up to that point, but I am tired of being mistaken for that ASSHOLE TODD!!
This TODD has been my doppleganger for TOO LONG. The guy is an asshole, and I don't like being mistaken for him. It's funny how people are convinced that I am who they think I am. But I don't think we look alike at all. The only thing we have in common is that we are both short. GO FIGURE!
Well I created one of those BLOGS. This is where I will rant, rave, or just go nuts. I bought the new Al Franken book today:
Lies And The Lying Liars That Tell Them: A Fair And Balanced Look At The Right. Only on the first chapter, but it is funny stuff.
Want to brighten your day? Listen to some cool music like live Ozric Tentacles.
