Well it's been 7 days since I moved the kids into the house. They seem to have finally adjusted. Spent my Friday off moving stuff from the apartment. Always seems weird going back in their and not having the kids running to meet me. But I won't have to go back in there much longer.
Donnie dropped off the wall paper steamer. I can start some remodeling work next week. Tomorrow I am hoping to go to the food expo in Hershey with Michelle. That's if Eric will let her have the day off.

Moved the kids over yesterday. It's been real traumatic for them. New Mexico has been hiding in a closet since he got here. Roswell finally moved away from the radiator he was trying to hide behind. I say try because he is so fat he could get behind it. But I woke up this morning and he was lying on the bed with me. Shiva was sleeping on the floor next to the bed. But Roswell is now back to hiding in a closet as well. I guess it will take them a while to get used to the place.
Yesterday I used my home depot gift card to get a hedge trimmer, garden hose, snow shovel and leaf blower. Today I go to Boscov's to get a tie rack.

Bought a new tv today. Got a 27" Panasonic. I was looking at both a Panasoic and Sony 27". Both had good pictures, but the Panasonic was able to do Closed Captioning, and the Sony didn't seem to be able to do it(It may have it but it was hidden well). Have the cable company over Manana so I can see how good the picture will be. Plus I wll hook up my Gamecube with a S-Video cable, Metroid Prime and Beyond Good and Evil should be hot!!

Moved two car loads of stuff today. Actually got the wallpaper removed from the dining room. It was real easy. It was vinyl and came off in whole sheets. Took me a total of 2 Live Ozric tunes to peel them off and bag them up. But all the moving stressed my back.
Stopped by ABC for some grub and beer. It was packed. They had the Irish dancers so all the friends and family were packed in to watch. My pizza was soggy as usual. I haven't had a decent pizza from them in a long time. Brian was supposed to give me a discount, but I didn't get it on my bill. No biggy he will make up for it.
Tomorrow I will try to move a little more stuff. I am thinking by next weekend I will have enough of my stuff moved out that I can start moving the big stuff. Plus I need to get cable and phone hooked up at the "Estate".
OK A really strange thing happened last night and if I didn't have a witness I would have sworn I imagined it all. I was showing Cathiline my phone, she was considering getting a new one, when I noticed that instead of it having the usual AT&T Wireless logo it said Cingular. Then all of a sudden the signal died(We were inside a restaurant. I mentioned it to Donnie and Cathiline, but since there was no signal, I could prove it.
Once we got outside I checked my phone again and it said "Cingular". I showed it to Donnie, but then about 10 seconds later it went back to AT&T.
Now I know AT&T Wireless was recently purchased by Cingular, so maybe this was a compatibility test.

Just got back from the Neil Young Greendale show at Hershey's Giant Center. I met Donny and Cathiline at the G-Man in Hummlestown. Had a couple of Troeg's Hopback Ales and some chicken fingers. I noticed a couple of young Hippies sitting in front of us and mentioned to Cathiline that "I bet they are going to the show". She agreed.
We get to the Giant Center and had excellent seats. This was my second concert at the new venue. Last time was the first rock show there was RUSH. The sound for the Rush show was loud and I had to wear ear plugs. But at the Rush show we were about 30 rows back. Tonight we sat in 3rd row!!.
So a few minutes after we got to our seats I look to my left and notice that the couple who just sat next to us was the Hippies we saw at the G-Man. Imagine that :)
The show was just fucking amazing. Greendale is a story of a small California town and centers around the Green family who have grown up in this town. Rather than go into depth about the story, just visit Neil Young's site for the story. But the as far as the show. It is presented as a play with actors and sets on stage. As the band is performing the songs, actors come and go, mouthing the words to the songs. Lots of props and a diamond scan screen to present visuals.
The main character was a young woman named Sun who was really HOT!!!!!!!
Before the show as I was reading the playbill I noticed that one of the actors was Russ Tamblyn. Russ was famous during the 50's and had starred in West Side Story both on Broadway and in the movie. He was also in the Japanese Monster Movie known in the states as War of the Gargantuans. Russ was also in the David Lynch movie/TV series Twin Peaks. Needless to say it was really cool to see him up on stage acting out the play.
At the end of "Play" there was a short break, about 5 minutes, and Neil w/Crazy Horse returned to play for another hour.
The show started around 8:15 and lasted about 3 hours, definitely a treat.
I just was looking at the showbill they handed out at the show, and part of the supporting cast was listed "12 Dancers from your home town". So my suspicisions were right. Some of the young hotties on stage were local girls.

I am back at my "Apartment". Feels funny telling people that I have an apartment, and a house. But Park street is no longer my home. It's just a temporary resting place until I get my house in order. I am hoping to move the kids on Saturday. Tomorrow I go to shop for a refrigerator. I also will be buying new kitty poop boxes. I still need to remove the rug runners from the steps so my kids won't get hurt running around their new home.
I own a house, I own a house, I own a house. Did I mention I own a house? YES! Last night I took my first dump in the new place. Bought a bookshelf stereo so I could jam in my new place. Shared a bottle of champagne with my little bro. Gonna need some work, but it's my new toy :)

Closing on my house today!!! Yeah!!! Had a wild dream last night. I was fooling around with a hot friend of mine when she got naked and I got to play with her beautiful BOOBS! She then pulls out a ping pong paddle and tells me to spank her, HARD! So I started having fun with that when my cat decides to WAKE ME THE FUCK UP!! Little wench.

Spent most of the weekend laying around watching tv and working on the web page. I did get some of the kitchen packed up. Still have stuff in the bedroom to pack. Web page is actually shaping up. I hope to add a section on cooking where I can put up some recipes.
Donnie gave me a great idea the other night. Once I get my house up and running, and have the brick oven in place, I plan on having semi weekly happy hours. Since I have every other Friday off, I can spend the day cooking up tasty delicacies. I would send out a menu a few days before, and have fresh baked breads, pizzas, and grilled stuff. Plus lots of beer and wine.

Didn't do to much today. Actually I worked on my web page all day. Adding some fun DHTML scripting. There are some games you can play. Plus I fucked around with the slideshow and the graphics. So mostly if you mouse over some of the graphics you will either get some effects or will be able to link to a site.
F1 started the season tonight. SWEET1.

I finally was able to get my check cleared today, so all the funds are available for closing next week. Talked with my insurance agent, David Gardner (Fucker's cousin) and all is set to go. I think I got a really great deal. Have my house insured for $135,000 for only $420/year. Sounds good to me.
Tonight listening to some Ozrics (What else :) ), plus I am going to watch a Gojira movie Gojira, Mosura, Kinghu Ghidorah. (Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah).
Looks like there is one more Godzilla movie in the works for release next December. From what it sounds it's gonna be a monster blow out. But that is probably going to be it for the next 10 years :(

Left work early today so I could be here when my check from a brokerage account was to be shipped by federal express. Check came, but when I tried to deposit it, my bank wanted to talk to the bank of origin to verify the funds. Otherwise I would have to wait 8 business days for it to clear. This would be a delay on my closing.
So I called my broker, Kevin Parker, at as usual not available. Didn't call me back as usual. You know my original broker, Rose was great. Would call me back within 20 minutes of a call, if she didn't answer the phone to begin with. She was great to work with. I remember her questioning me when I made my first investment in Marvel (MVL). At the time it was at $6.00/share. and had lots of debt. I knew that they had a sweet toy deal for the Lord of The Rings movies, and had Spiderman on the horizon. I said "Rose trust me". Needless to say I sold some of my holdings last week at $35.00/share. Rose was cool, Kevin is not. I had to use the PC at ABC to find a phone number to CUSO financials in San Diego. I talked to a dude named Dan who was able to give me a phone number my bank can call to vefify the funds.
KEVIN CAN KISS MY FUCKING ASS!!

Didn't get much work done today. Tried to use Websphere on the z/OS (Mainframe) but it apparently wasn't running on the test system. Checked my work email and noticed that Susan had sent me startup instructions. So tomorrow I get to play with Websphere on the mainframe. YEAH.. Websphere is what I have been specializing in lately. I have all the web applications I am responsible running under the latest Windows version, so I am going to see how easy it is to move them to the other platform. Shouldn't be too hard. Besides I can do anything with computers, I am a SUPER GENIUS!!
Six more days YEAH!!!
I survived Vancho's party. Was going to call in sick today. Got up at 9:00 and was hanging out with the kitties listening to Howard Stern. I got up to get some bottled water when I noticed a note I had placed on my apartment door last night. "Get Cheescakes For Heather". Heather is a coworker and it is her birthday today. I was to bring in the cheesecakes. DOH!! So I hopped into the shower, got dressed, picked up the cheesecakes at Giant and made it into work by 10:00am.

Going to a party at John Vancho's ("VANCHO") place. His apartment is actually the third floor of an old hotel. The owner is trying to sell the place, so John is having a last party. When I was invited he said to bring lots of ones. There is a stage in one end of his apartment so it should get interesting.
Weather was beautiful today, got to go topless for the first time this year WOO HOO!!

Work was simple today. Not much going on yet. Had some Thai wings for dinner. Nice and spicy...Yum Yum. Came home and started packing boxes, and throwing out some old clothes. Found a missing pant leg for some convertable cargo pants/shorts. They had been missing for a while. Now I can where the cargo pants again...YEAH!!
The dust started getting to my allergies so I had to stop. But I did pack two crates and fill three bags.l
I watched the Oscars last night and was pleasantly surprised that Lord Of The Rings:Return Of The King swept the awards it was nominated for. A friend was expecting Tim Robbins to go political in his acceptance speech. All we got was the actor speaking about victims of domestic violence. The only political statement was from Errol Moriss who won an award for best documentary "A Fog of War". The show was still boring. Best part was watching Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Garner.
