Haven't posted in a while. Been lazy. Got my furniture moved over today. Man the water bed was a challenge. I wasn't able to get it drained with the traditional method I have used in the past. I almost had roto rotor come in and do it, but when I picked up a truck at U-Haul I noticed they had water bed drainers for rent. So I sprung $7.00 for it. When we went into the basement I noticed it was flooded. It looked like it was clogged again. I stopped draining the bed into the tub and took the hose outside (Once I had the bed draining I didn't need the pump anymore, gravity took its course. So I was able to get the bed moved over. Just need to make a few more trips to pick up any left overs and box up the junk.
Been watching the new Iron Chef American which pitted Morimoto and Sakai against Bobby Flay, Mario Balta, and Wolfgang Puck. Fun Stuff.

Well I got a new ORB. It's the same as the last one, 1991 Mercury Capri, but a sweeter color, Midnight Blue. Picture is up on my MobLog. Plus the wheels are nicer, and it is just fucking cool. Can't wait to put the top down, but it has been raining since Sunday, and no let up until Thursday. Fucking SHIT!
I finally was able to get my wireless connection working under Linux. So I will be able to surf and update my website from the comfort of my living room. YEAH!!!!
Been a while since I have posted. Still moving small stuff from the apartment to the house. Don't have a desk setup in my office, so I haven't been using the laptop much. The kitties are still adjusting, but are better than last week. New Mexico is having a rough time adjusting to using the cat box. Even though they now have two boxes between three cats. Plus he is hanging out in the dusty closets. Looks like I will have to give him a bath this weekend. OH JOY!!
Had my first little get together at the house tonight. Went well. Been a long day since I have been up since 7:0oam. Even though I had the day off, I had to get up and wait for the delivery of my new grill. It's a monster.
I got a Commercial grade Char-Broil. Four burners, plus a side burner for heating sauces, boiling etc. The delivery dudes had a bit of trouble getting it off the truck and behind my house. I said take it through the house, would be easier. I gave them each 5 bucks for a beer after work.
Made up some grilled goodies.
Chicken strips with Thai Curry sauce.
Flank Steak Strips with a Teriyaki based sauce.
Shrimp with a coconut milk based marinade.
Lots of good beer to.
Now that I have the grill I will have some work picnics where I can get some of the gang to come over and help with the wall paper removal. Sweet!!
Yes it's been a while since I have posted anything. Haven't had a good nights sleep since I moved into the house. The kitties have been having a hard time adjusting to the new place. Needless to say that I am awakened at 3:30am every night with incessant whining. Hopefully it will end soon.
I am having some peeps over today for a cookout to help break my new grill in. Lots of good food and beer. YUM!!
