Watched some cool, and not so cool DVDs this weekend. Gothika, a Halle Berrie thriller, spooky and cool. Van Helsing, Ok, but cheesy. The new Dawn of The Dead. Way cool, good goor, and some funny moments. Plus some of the bonus material is better than the average stuff they through on discs.
Right now listening to Stars End, and the first hour is dedicated to Halloween. Playing spooky music like John Carpenter's theme to HALLOWEEN!! Check out the playlist.
Steeler's play the Patriots on Sunday. Let's hope they win. Plus we must root for the Packers. They are playing the Redskins. For the last 17 Presidential elections, when Washington has won it's last home game before it, the incumbent won, but if they lose or tie, the incumbent lost. GO CHEESE HEADS!!
Been jamming a really cool Live Ozric Tentacles disc. Recorded 01-31-1987 in Nottingham. Lots of long spaced out jams. Not as intense as their later stuff, but you can hear the germs and motifs of what would later become some of their standard jams. Brilliant, FUCKING BRILLIANT!
Had a really strange dream the other night. I was at a roundtable discussion about the current political situation in Cuba, and how the US Sanctions are harming the country. Michelle was there and was trying to express her views, but was so emotionally involved, she wasn't able to get the words out without breaking down and crying. The head politico at the table looked like Ronald Regan, but very corpse like. Thin and gaunt. Come to think about it Ronnie is a corpse.
Anyway after the discussion was over it melted into an event at the Whitaker Center. We were leaving the venue when I told Michelle I had to go back and get my coat. All of a sudden I was naked and trying to put my clothes back on, but I was luck stuck in slo mo. By the time I go tmy clothes on, and found my coat (A young lady found it and handed it to me) I lost Michelle in the crowd. Soon after that the alarm went off.
Got a new phone recently a Nokia 6620. It is a camera/video phone (Video up to 10 minutes), and can stream media from the internet, as well as play mpeg-4 and real media files. It uses the newer EDGE networking technology. Not exactly sure what that means, but it does email pictures and transferes data a lot faster.
OAKUM did it again last Saturday. I was walking into the kitchen and I caught him on the counter trying to get at the cake I had baked on Friday. Just as I was going "Why you little TWERP!!" He jumps down off the counter and into the cupboard by the fridge. He then sticks his paw out and pulls the door to the cupboard shut! I started laughing so hard I forgot that I was mad at him. I have to get a video camera so I can capture his zaniness.
Spent too much money on DVDs today. But I had $25.00 in coupons. So I got Bubba Ho Tep . Cool movie about an old decriped Elvis who is living at an old folks home in Texas. There is also a old black dude who say's he is JFK. "They dyed me all black". Funny story about them taking on a Mummy who is stealing the souls of all the old people in the home.

Staying up way too late watching a Marathon of the first season of 24. Already at the 5:00am-6:00am hour. Next will be season 2. Have to get through them quick, cuz the 3rd season will be out soon.
OK Oakum really did it this time. I get home from work, and I hear running water coming from the bathroom. I am like OH SHIT!! I get upstairs and saw the water was running in the bathroom sink. Luckily it didn't spill over the floor, just splashed around a bit. I went down to the kitchen to see if there was any damage to the ceiling. Nope. I then noticed that the kitties water bottle was empty. I figure that Oakum must have gotten up on the bathroom sink and turned the water on.
